Admittedly, we are a little biased ... but we think there is so much to do in the area that our only complaint is always the same: Never enough time! And of course one of our favorite things is to sit by the pool, sipping rose, breathing in the scents and dozing off to the sound of the gentle breezes blowing in the trees. But if you want activities, here's a few we've narrowed it down to:
I think we have done everything listed in the our top 100 list, except dinner at Oustau de la Baumaniere, despite all my hints. But if this list seems a little overwhelming, do not worry.
First off, you could be perfectly happy staying home the whole time and walking to Cabrieres for your bread, cheese and wine. But for those who want to be a little more active, we have put together a two week itinerary with suggestions for every single day, from morning to evening, based on market days, restaurant closings and other scheduling details. You really don't need to think about anything -- just get in the car and go. We'll send this to you as soon as we receive the confirmation for your rental stay. We find that it helps you to plan and helps you relive the trip when you get home. We hope that like us, you will enjoy the planning and the reliving stages almost as much as the actual trip.
